Galeries Lafayette |
Within the fabulous surroundings of Galeries Lafayette, we came across an exhibition space, the entrance to which resembled a dark rabbit hole.
The exhibition, 'Into The Woods', by Daria de Beauvais (with Laëtitia Badaut Haussmann, Sophie Bueno-Boutellier, Susan Collis, Marcelline Delbeeq, Mimosa Eehard, Alicja hwade, Maria Loboda, Anne Laure Sacriste, Iris Van Dongen, Jessica Warboys and Anne Wenzel) comprised of recollections of fairytales and woodland folklore. The show limns a phantasmagoric mental landscape through the work of eleven female artists.
The techniques employed vary widely; painting, sculpture, drawing, video, sound art and installations.
